A GREAT TEAM

A team of Indian 'Lawmakers'-M.Ps-Members of Parliament are to 'attend classes' at the Yale University in the United States on 'current global issues and leadership challenges'.
The team is to be led by Abhishek Manu Singhvi of the Congress.
The other members of this team make an interesting read since most of them come from 'great' political lineage or families.
1.Prakash Javadekar-spokesperson of BJP
2.H.D.Kumaraswamy-former CM of Karnataka and the son of the former PM Deve Gowda.
3.Naresh Gujral-son of former PM I K Gujral
4.Jayant Chaudhary-son of RLD supremo Ajit Singh and grandson of former PM Charan Singh.
5.Priya Dutt-daughter of Sunil Dutt
6.M.H.Sayeed-son of former Union Minister P.M.Sayeed.
7.Shruti Chaudhary-daughter of Haryana Minister Kiran Chaudhary (and if my memory serves me right is also the granddaughter of former Union Minister, Bansi Lal.
8.Anurag Singh-son of Himachal Pradesh CM, P K Dhumal
9.Mausam Noor from West Bengal and niece of ABA Ghani Khan Chaudhary, former Union Minister.
10.Ijayaraj Singh from Rajasthan.
Ijayraj Singh is from a royal family.
Anurag Singh is also the President of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.
Clearly, the 'best of the lot' are being sent to Yale at the cost of the taxpayers for honing leadership skills. These are 'proven' leaders who can teach all of the common masses many things about leadership.
Clearly, there is nepotism and favouritism that is something not uncommon in the Indian scene today.
Amit Varma of India Uncut would be fuming over the trip.
